Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Bronx peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We must hold local legislators accountable. When will the center reopen? This is unacceptable and unfair to the residents of the South Bronx.

Overall it was cool accept the lady Patricia seemed very interested in if my children had the same dad or not. She didn't blatantly come out and ask but it was very apparent. My children look different although they both have the same mom and dad, it's (genetics) but ignorance just gets under my skin especially from an adult and woman of color. She also on more than one occasion made a snide remark about my child's weight. I couldn't understand what any of this had to do with her doing her job. No matter your position or education you cannot teach people coife, I stopped bringing my children because it made them uncomfortable and it made me want to cuss her out. The recreation center is supposed to be a place to interact and have fun not be picked apart or scrutinized.
